paradise
Long ago, lived two hungry hobos who spent most of their lives in the same remote spot.
One day, while sitting together around sunset, one said to the other, “What would paradise be for you?”
His friend replied, “paradise would be a place where we are never too hot and never too cold. A place where we are guaranteed food at least twice a day, every day. A place where there’s entertainment and companionship. A place with no taxes or bills. A place with a bed where we can lie down and sleep each night. A place where we can stay as long as we want without charge. This, my friend would truly be paradise!”
At that very moment, an elderly lady walked by and said, “Gentlemen. Dream no longer. This place you described is nearby. Just over that mountain, you will find this paradise!”
The man rejoiced, “This is amazing news. What should we look for?”
She said, “Look for a sign that reads State Prison.”
