An elderly woman in a wheel chair was telling her granddaughter about a hole she fell in when she was a child.
She said, “One morning I strolled a new path to get to the market. When I reached the top of the hill, I fell into a hole covered by leaves. It seemed almost like a trap of some sort. I never made it to the market that day because I had to go to the hospital. That’s why grandma is in a wheelchair today.”
The granddaughter said, “I’m so sorry grandma. Did you go back later and put up a warning sign or tell anyone about the hole?” The grandma replied, “No, dear. I didn’t want anyone to think poorly about that path.”
The granddaughter said, “But grandma, what if more people choose that path and end up hurting their ankle or worse?”
The grandma replied, “Let’s just pray no one does.” The granddaughter respectively said, “You can pray. I’m going to make a sign!”
